Artist Statement
Art is my bridge between past and present, between personal history and universal emotion. As a Marine Corps veteran, I have seen the rawest edges of life—chaos, resilience, loss, and hope. These experiences shape my work, guiding my hand as I translate complex emotions into form and color. My art is a dialogue between the seen and the unseen, where every stroke carries a story, every shade a memory.
Influenced by classical techniques, historical narratives, and personal introspection, I blend realism with abstraction, creating works that invite deeper contemplation. Some pieces wrestle with the weight of war and trauma, while others celebrate the quiet beauty found in everyday moments. Whether through a powerful figurative piece, a modern reinterpretation of historical themes, or an evocative portrait, my goal remains the same: to connect, to challenge, and to stir something within the viewer.
I believe that fine art is more than decoration—it is a statement, a reflection of the human experience. My work invites collectors, galleries, and audiences to engage with art that is not just seen, but felt.
